Look what we woke up to this morning!!
we ended up with about 3-4 inches of snow! Ash went in to work this morning and opened up (the first pic you can see the huts light in the middle of the photo taken from our porch) and closed around 9:30. We played in the snow and had fun all day! The snow was so pretty.


 

We went to the zoo today. It was VERY cold. It is 21F and that is around -4C! YIKES! We still had alot of fun. I figured photos of animals that live in the cold would be a good idea to post since its so cold here! The polar bear really wanted that treat inside the barrel. He was jumping and pushing on it.

For all you not living in Oregon I thought a few photos on the drive to the Portland zoo would be fun to look at. In the second photo you can see the new sky tram they have built, its the odd shaped white thing in the middle of the photo. Then the fun tunnel we go through to get to the zoo. Last photo in the distance you can see Mt.Hood.

It was our 6 year anniversary on the 13th!!!!
Yes, its been 6 years already.
It has gone by so fast. We have had a wonderful 6 years. We are so lucky and I am so glad we found eachother. It has been a busy 6 years. From living in Australia to moving back to Oregon, opening the coffee shop, having a baby and now raising a little boy. We are always having fun whatever we do as long as we are together.



 

We had hail last week, then it also snowed!!
Dorian just happend to be playing outside when the hail started and him and Wyatt had alot of fun. Dorian loved eating the ice, he even went inside and got a bowl to catch it.


 

Monday was Bud's birthday!
We had a gathering over at there house.
We all had a great time. He got tickets to see George Strait from mom and he was VERY excited! Papa shared the candles with Dorian and even let him use his fingers on the frosting!

 

Happy New Year!!
Hope everyone had a great holiday.
Its new years resolution time.
We made only a few easy ones. We wont be breaking these!

1- To stay in a yurt this summer on the beach.
We will put a link in the side bar if you dont know what a yurt is.
2- Relax and take it easy more.
3- In 2008-2009 get back to Australia. We want Dorian to be 5 or 6 when we go back so it will be more fun for him.

We got this photo from Ashar's sister Elise of our 2 nieces Zoe and Taya and our new lil nephew Josh. I just thought this photo was so cute!

We had 2 days off this past weekend. We had a really great time. We got to all 3 go to the zoo together and it was a really nice day, cold but the sun was out. We had a really good time. Here are a few photos of us at the zoo. Last photo is Dorian in a life size Eagle nest. Sunday night we went over and had pizza at Bud and moms house and Jeff and Meagan were there. We did fireworks and the kids loved them. Monday we just hung out and relaxed most the day. We did go get a robot that Dorian had worked to on his "smiley face chart". He got 5 smiles for making good choices for 5 days. He loves his new robot, he was talking about it 24/7 and even in his sleep prior to getting it!


Erin's brother Matt has been in the hospital since Dec 22nd. He had his gall bladder removed and now is battling pancretitis.
We are crossing our fingers he gets out soon.
