Pumpkin Patch!

We went to the pumpkin patch on Sunday and it was alot of fun!
We went with mom, Aunt Jamie, Uncle Matt, Shelby and Meagan.
The kids had so much fun, Dorian was alittle unsure about all of it at first but then came around and had a blast! Here are the photos, click HERE!

Dorian's new dentist!

We found a wonderful dentist for Dorian to go to. They have therapy dogs which is great for Dorian and even gerbils to feed! This is Madison and Dorian was laying down right there with her for his exam!

Jeff's Birthday Party!

It was Jeff's (Erin's brothers) birthday party on Oct 8th. The party was at mom ad Bud's house.

Trip to the zoo!

Look at these two, could not be any cuter!
As you can see the leaves are changing and its cold.

This bear is never out and we finally saw him!

We went last Sunday and had a really good time. It was members day so we got 3 free little reusable lunch sacks that are actually really nice. We also did a zoo passport which was you got a zoo passport and went to different "stations" around the zoo to get stamps. Dorian was on a mission and we went and did them all, there was no time for even looking at the animals!
He got a tattoo at the exit of the zoo for getting it all stamped.

Garden

We have not posted anything about our garden this year. But, we did have one.
We had 2 pumpkins, but one of them disappeared some how. It was ripped out from the root about 4 weeks ago. Dorian says that it must have been a raccoon that took it and hung it above his door to use as a bell... and he really knows what he is talking about!
Then our next door neighbors had a teenage boy doing there yard work with a weed whacker and somehow he chopped about half of our tomatoes down!?!
We did get 1 small pumpkin and still quite a bit of our cherry tomatoes.
We also had a beautiful sunflower. Maybe next year we will have a better harvest.

The love of our life has turned 5!

Fun at the zoo!

We went to the zoo on Labor day. We had 2 days off and it was very nice!
The zoo was PACKED! But, it was alot of fun. They had a bird show and we saw the Harry Potter type of owl, they even played the Harry Potter theme song when he came out! Dorian liked that.

Swing time!

This is what happens when a mosquito bites your eye!

They say there is a first time for everything, and Dorian had his first mosquito bite on the eye!
It bite him right under the eye, his poor eye and nose have been swollen going on 3 days now.
The first night it got swollen almost completely shut, Dorian was of course scared when that happened but we gave him some antihistamine medication and it went down after about 10-15 mins after that to just a swollen eye. He is still sleeping now, but I can see its still swollen (day 3) but getting better. His pediatrian said it could take awhile and that bites around the eyes get very swollen.. yep, they sure do. So now you have heard the newest news from us!

Canby Fair!

We went to the fair last night and had a wonderful time!
We went with Erin's mom, Bud, Jamie, Shelby, Matt and his girlfriend Lisa.
The kids had a great time, minus the ride Dorian went on and figured out rides are not his thing, that OK Ash does not like them either! They loved watching the rodeo and looking at all the animals. Click here for the photos from our night at the fair!

Two days off!

We took Saturday off and we always have Sunday off! We went to Erin's cousins wedding on Saturday and had a good time and then there was a small get together at Erin's parents house after. Then today we relaxed and slept in and then went down to Wilsonville park were they have walking trails along the water and walked those for a few hours, we had a really great time! Then went and got smoothies and headed home. Now we have been just relaxing more and watching movies. Good weekend! Click here for photos of us on our walk!

Dorian is 5!

August 3rd has come and gone, we have a 5 year old!
He had such a wonderful birthday and birthday party! When he woke up on his birthday we went down to the coffee shop to open gifts and then we all came back and he got his "big present" from mum and dad, a ride on 4 wheeler or as he calls it a "ninja bike".
Then we went over and had pizza at Erin's parents house and grandpa and grandma from Arizona (Dorian's great grandparents) came down for Dorian's birthday and also Uncle James and Uncle Matt were there. Then after dinner we headed off to the movies to see Ratatouille!

Then on Sunday the 5th was his birthday party and we had a wonderful time.

Until Dorian is 5!! Oh my gosh, how has time gone by so fast?!?!

Earthquake?!

We did not feel it, but a 3.3 magnitude earthquake hit our area last night just before 9pm.
We were over at mom and Buds house having a dinner/pool get together.

We got something new to play with!

Ash found it 50% off so we had to pick it up. We wanted to rent one for Dorians party but this was even cheaper than renting for one day! Also, we have some more new photos HERE!

Happy 4th of July 2007!

We had a wonderful 4th of July! It has been our first year back without a huge blow out party at Mom and Buds house. But, we still had a great time. We watched the parade in Canby and then headed over to our friends house and we had a bbq over there and the kids ran around and had a blast! Check out more photos HERE!

This is what Dorian looks like on a normal morning. On the couch with his drink dad drops off for him, in his pjs and watching TV slowly waking up.

Dorians friend Charlize had her 4th bday party!

The kids had so much fun. I just had to post these funny photos of the kids beating the poor horse pinata! It was like animal abuse!
As you can see Dorian did not use the bat he found some cool boxing gloves to use.
They did finally get some candy out of it, but the poor horses head did have to be taken off in order to get the candy out.. thats one tuff horse!

Father's Day 2007!

We had a great fathers day! We went over to mom and Buds house and had a bbq and the weather was nice. The kids got to play with each other..in a box! Also a photo of Bud with Shelby, Dorian and Meagan. When we got home the boys hopped into bed and relaxed and watched some TV and I snapped a photo of the 2 together.. too sweet!

Best daddy in the world...REALLY.. he is the best!

Its fathers day! We are having a really nice relaxing morning and just hanging out at home and the boys are playing the game Dorian got Ashar for the playstation, it is Harry Potter! Portland Children's Museum

Today we headed out to Portland to the Children's Museum. We had a good time.
Dorian really enjoyed the grocery store and loved ringing everything up. It was really funny as he liked wearing a knight mask, but he saw this other boy walking around with a black one and Dorian stalked him for about 10 mins hoping that lil boy would be done and put it down. We had a few nice days here in Oregon finally and we got a pool and we have had so much fun! Here are some photos, click here. Everything has been going great.
Not much new going on, we only have 1 week left of watching the girl we watch after school and then we only will be watching Kaitlyn 2 days a week so we will have alot of extra time to do what we want.

Shhhhh..

Dorian and Ashar fell asleep watching a movie the other night and thet just looked so cute together. Ahhh, I love them so much!

Mothers day was yesterday and I had such a wonderful day.
I woke up to a balloon, card and this wonderful video of my son.
We then were picked up by mom and Bud and headed off to the beach, and the whole day was just lovely. We had such a great time and the weather was just perfect.
Being a mum is the best thing I have ever done, and I feel so lucky to have Dorian as my son.
