For the love of cats..

Watching your child fall asleep with a stuffed kitty in his hand pretending and wishing it is his kitty makes your heart break into a million pieces.

Our beautiful Bailey is gone...

We have had Bailey since early 2001. He was the best cat, he was just a big cuddly cat. He liked to eat and sleep.. and that was about it. He loved to cuddle up on the couch every night with Dorian, he would push his wet nose over and over on Dorian to get Dorian to give him more pats. He was a very skittish cat, he would run as fast as he could, which was not very fast, and hide. His favorite hiding spot was BEHIND the washer and dryer, he could barely get himself back up since we was so heavy. He loved to put food in his mouth and put it on the ground and lie down to eat.

Saturday was Bailey's last day on this earth. We found him and he had passed. We had him for 8 lovely years, we wish our time with him could have lasted forever. As Dorian said "I would do anything for Bailey to come back." and I wish I could do anything to bring him back for him.

We will miss you Bailey, thank you for loving us for 8 years and being part of our family...

Out for a walk

Went on a walk the other night. The autumn weather has been wonderful, it brings cool crisp night with beautiful sunsets.
We have been trying to take as many walks was we can at night before the rain comes.

He did it!

Dorian figured out how to slide down the pole! We were so proud of him.

We have the sweetest kid ever...

Tonight we went to Dairy Queen for blizzards. Dorian asked Ash to make sure the guy told him which blizzard was his, and Ash reassured Dorian that we could figure it out as mum use to work there. Then Dorian said "you did not mum!", and I said that I did when I was 16. He then said with a very concerned but sweet voice, "Then every boy that would have walked in would have said ohh she is so pretty and everyone would have liked you the best and would have said ohh she is the best and nicest..."

My heart melted.

Sorry it has been so long since I have updated the blog, better late than never?!
Here are photos of our fair trip this year.

Waiting to ride the bumper cars, Dorian changed his mind about going on this or any other rides so we just watched while Uncle James and cousin Shelby went on.
